~ Gratitude ~
Dear Beautiful Souls,
This beautiful Banyon tree is my favorite part of Legoland, FL. I've always loved trees, so majestic and full of life. They remind me to pause, to remember we are are part of something much larger, and to be thankful for the simple things. Let's pause together this week in the midst of these unprecedented times and practice gratitude.
~ Gratitude ~
- enhances happiness and mental & physical health
- strengthens the immune system
- releases natural endorphins to help cope with stress
- relaxes the heart
- improves sleep
- blocks negative emotions, making us less prone to worry & depression
Let's be mindful of all our blessings, there is so much to be grateful for... family, health, nature, food, laughter, art, music and love. What are some of your favorite things? What makes you pause and acknowledge the goodness in your life?
Gratitude is a super power. Whether it's remembering a past blessing, not taking good fortune for granted or maintaining a hopeful attitude, our attitude of gratitude can be strengthened. Whatever we practice, grows stronger.
“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart,
it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”
